Level II NICU

Our birthing services in San Marcos are equipped to provide specialized care for premature babies or those needing neonatal support in our Level II NICU. Our experienced neonatologists ensure your newborn baby receives the necessary resources to develop and grow until they are ready to go home.

If your baby requires more advanced care, we have access to CHRISTUS Children's Level IV NICU in nearby San Antonio, which is the highest level of NICU care available. 

Level II Maternal Care

Our hospital is also designated as a Level II Maternal Care facility, offering specialty care for moms with low- to high-risk conditions before, during, and after delivery. When complications arise, our dedicated team has the expertise and resources to prioritize your health and well-being.

As a Texas Ten Step facility, our certified lactation consultants are dedicated to supporting new moms with breastfeeding. By participating in this program, our hospital provides new moms like you with a higher level of lactation support and resources to encourage breastfeeding.
