Lip and Mouth Rejuvenation

As we age, we lose volume in our faces. This results in the sagging of tissues and the formation of wrinkles. One of the areas where this is most noticeable is around the mouth. Injectable fillers have been developed to restore lost volume and reduce wrinkles. They are extremely effective and produce instant results. The family of Juvéderm fillers has been tailored for treating specific areas.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural, complex sugar that improves skin elasticity, delivers nutrients, hydrates the skin by holding in water, and acts as a cushioning agent. By adding volume to the lips, lines and creases around the mouth become smoother, more supple and create a more youthful appearance. Over time, the product is harmlessly absorbed into the body.

Lip Augmentation

Lip augmentation increases volume in your lips, making them fuller and plumper. Injectable fillers, containing hyaluronic acid, are the most used method of lip augmentation. When creating fullness or restoring lost volume in the lips, a little goes a long way. Using injectable fillers such as Juvéderm, and in some cases fat grafting, we can enhance lip plumpness.

There is very little chance of rejection, and the procedure is reversible. Injectable fillers are not permanent and will usually require additional injections approximately every 4-5 months.
