Dawn Rask, MD
Assistant Professor, Baylor College of Medicine
Meet Dawn Rask, MD
Dr. Dawn Rask has been dedicated to the surgical care of patients since high school and has remained focused on this goal throughout her career. After completing her orthopedic residency training and pursuing a fellowship in hand surgery, she not only solidified her passion for upper extremity, hand and microvascular surgery but also developed a growing interest in the care of pediatric hand conditions. She had the distinct privilege of learning under Dr. Peter Waters and a team of congenital hand surgeons, where she discovered the intricacy, challenges and joys of caring for children. Ultimately, Dr. Rask feels a strong responsibility and passion for treating pediatric patients, considering it a privilege to help improve their function and quality of life.
Dr. Rask enjoys spending time with her family, running and hiking.
