Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation
CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation is a hospital-based, comprehensive physical and cognitive rehabilitation program dedicated exclusively to treating those individuals who have experienced a disabling injury or illness. A team of professionals focuses on improving the function of each patient in an effort to restore patients to their fullest potential.
Please note that the rehabilitation unit is very different from an acute care setting. Our patients are encouraged to do as much for themselves as possible. We hope that each person will benefit from our program and we will ensure maximal gains in your functional independence.
Family members are essential to our team and encouraged to participate from the initial assessment through the daily treatment regimen, discharge planning and post-inpatient phases.
