Online classes offer a convenient way to learn whenever and wherever you like, offering you a wealth of information about childbirth and an overview of our maternity services. The in-person class gives you that time with a knowledgeable OB nurse for additional information and discussion so that you feel prepared and ready for the birth of your new baby. And the best news? How does it work?

PART 1: SELF-PACED ONLINE LEARNING:
The first part of this class is completed in the comfort of your home on your own time with the Understanding Birth eClass. You will learn all about the birth process through instructive video clips, birth stories, animations, and interactive games. The online class provides you with the opportunity to write down notes and questions to take with you to the second part of the class.


PART 2: JOIN A LIVE CLASS IN-PERSON:
During the second part of the class, you attend an in-person class at CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center taught by a certified childbirth educator where you will be able to ask questions, participate in activities and discussions, practice labor techniques, and meet other expectant families.
