Conditions We Treat
Achilles Tendon Repair
Your Achilles tendon is a tough fibrous cord that brings the muscles in the back of your calf to your heel bone together. When you over exert this tendon through physical activity, it can tear or rupture fully or partially. When this happens, it is normal to hear a pop followed by instantaneous sharp pain where the tendon exists.
Bone Spurs
Bone spurs are a result of damage to the joints which is usually associated with the presence of osteoarthritis. A majority of bone spurs come with no symptoms and go unnoticed for a number of years.
Bunions
A bunion can show up as a bony bump on the joint of your big toe. Bunions can occur when the bones in the front part of your foot shift out of place. In this moment, the tip of your big toe is getting pulled closer to your smaller toes thus forcing the joint that makes up the base of your biggest toe to poke out. Bunions can also be a result of the shape of your foot, a deformity of the foot, or even a medical condition known as arthritis.
Fractures
A fracture is a broken bone. It is a condition that can happen to an individual after experiencing a traumatic, painful injury. When a bone is fractured, the shape of the bone is manipulated by the break. Fractures can happen straight across the bone affected or alongside the actual length of it. The result of a fracture breaks a bone in two or leaves it in multiple pieces.
