About
"I learned at an early age that the economically and socially disadvantaged are at the highest risk for poor health. This should not be acceptable. Every human being should have good access to healthcare. I have been fortunate to have experienced life changing moments when traveling to Haiti with my family for medical missions and work in clinics as a medical student. It was so rewarding to know that I made a difference and helped – even if it was small or even if it was just a few people. I learned about the importance of compassion, hard work, and dedication from my mother – a registered nurse in the cardiac care unit for over 30 years."
"I believe that women’s health is most important. Providing excellent care to pregnant women and all women has to be at the forefront of our drive in an effort to produce healthy children, families, and communities."
