Meet Kirstin Henley, MD

Dr. Kirstin Henley joined CHRISTUS Children's Critical Care team in 2020. She developed a love for pediatric medicine after spending several years in Africa working in clinics and hospitals including the Red Cross Children's Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. In addition to attending medical school and completing residency and fellowship training, Dr. Henley earned a Master of Science in biomedical sciences as part of the Global Scholars Program at St. George's University. Her passion lies in making health care accessible to marginalized patients and families. She also enjoys her role as the director of critical care training for residents in the Baylor College of Medicine program. Away from work, Dr. Henley enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and biking.
