About
Dr. Hill received his B.S. in Mathematics at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and obtained his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Following his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, Dr. Hill completed his Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He also received a Master of Science Degree in Operations Research Engineering at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Hill currently serves as Professor and Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's. He retired from the U.S. Army after 29 years of service, where he rose to the rank of Colonel. He has published numerous papers in peer review journals and serves as a peer reviewer for numerous medical journals including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology (Green Journal), and British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hill is also an exceptional teacher, and has earned numerous teaching awards including the national CREOG Teaching Award, the national APGO Excellence in Teaching Award in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Fred T. Given Faculty Teaching Award at EVMS. He has a special interest in infectious disease, medical education and hypertensive diseases of pregnancy.
