About
Gustavo A. Charria-Ortiz, MD, leads the Pediatric Epilepsy Clinic at CHRISTUS Children’s. He is a native of Colombia, South America. After travelling extensively between Colombia and the U.S., he decided to settle down in San Antonio to raise his family.
His primary focus is the study, evaluation and treatment of children with epilepsy, although he also has extensive experience in the fields of neurogenetics and neurometabolic disorders. In addition, he also serves as an inpatient general neurologist and cares for a wide variety of neurological and developmental disorders in children in the hospital as well as outpatient in the clinics.
His hobbies include philosophy of the mind and Latin American music.
