Dr. Bali is a highly specialized pediatric neurosurgeon with expertise in a range of conditions, including Chiari malformation, hydrocephalus, endoscopic neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, tumor surgery (brain and spinal cord), spasticity treatment (Baclofen pump vs Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy), and minimally invasive neurosurgery.
Dr. Bali finds pediatric neurosurgery to be a gratifying field due to the wide range of techniques involved and the ability to provide care for a broad spectrum of neurosurgical issues such as tumors, spinal abnormalities, traumatic injuries, movement disorders, and seizure disorders.
Dr. Bali is inspired by the motivation of the children he treats, who strive to get better and improve.
Dr. Bali is interested in implementing a multidisciplinary approach and utilizing new technology to improve the survival and quality of life of his young patients.
As a father of three, Dr. Bali enjoys spending time with his young patients and their families. He believes building positive relationships with them is critical to achieving the best possible treatment outcomes.
Before joining the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Children's Hospital in February 2024, Dr. Bali completed post-doctoral pediatric neurosurgical fellowships at Johns Hopkins All Children Hospital (Johns Hopkins University) and another pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Children's Medical Center of Dallas (UT Southwestern).
Dr. Bali contributed to multiple chapters in scientific books and published numerous academic articles.
Dr. Bali's hobbies include playing tennis and basketball, watching movies, and reading.
