CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic orthopedics and sports medicine physician Azael Arizpe, MD, is committed to providing comprehensive patient care. Dr. Arizpe’s areas of expertise include ligament ruptures, tendon tears, and fractures of the shoulder, knee, or hip, arthroplasty of the shoulder and knee.
Dr. Arizpe earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin, in Austin, TX, and his Doctor of Medicine at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. He completed his residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery in Miami, FL, and he fellowshipped at the University of Texas Sports Medicine and Shoulder in Houston, TX.
Being a Tyler native involved in sports growing up, he uniquely understands the needs and concerns for his patients in Tyler.
