Meet Andrew Pike, MD

Andrew N. Pike, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Alamogordo, New Mexico. A decorated Air Force veteran, Colonel Pike has served in numerous overseas locations and continues to serve as an Orthopedic Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Dr. Pike is dedicated to delivering expert, patient-centered care for individuals with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. His surgical expertise includes advanced joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures for the knee and shoulder, fracture repairs, and treatments for tendon injuries, ligament tears, and arthritis. He is experienced in managing complex knee injuries, including ligament and cartilage damage, and is skilled in both arthroscopic and open procedures to address these conditions. Dr. Pike has published articles in major orthopedic journals on these topics, contributing to advancements in the field. Additionally, he has extensive experience in shoulder reconstruction, treating recurrent dislocations, rotator cuff tears, and arthritic conditions. For shoulder replacements, Dr. Pike utilizes the latest CT-guided techniques to optimize implant selection and placement. He is also experienced in treating a variety of athletic injuries and has worked with professional and collegiate soccer, football, and hockey teams to help athletes return to their pre-injury levels of activity. He values clear communication and prioritizes educating his patients about their conditions and treatment options, guiding them through every step of their recovery journey. Outside of work, he enjoys participating in outdoor activities in New Mexico with his wife and four children and is an active member of his local church.
