Dr. Hernandez graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 and Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2012. She then moved to beautiful east Texas to complete her family medicine / primary care residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler from 2012-2015.

Preventive medicine and women’s health are what first interested Dr. Hernandez in family medicine. She is originally from South Central Texas and is excited to be "back home."

In her spare time, Dr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with her husband and son as well as family and friends in the area. She loves shopping, baking and crocheting.
